Tens of thousands of packages of Neutrogena makeup wipes have been recalled in the U.S. due to concerns of a bacterial contamination which can cause skin irritation annd eye infections.
Kenvue Brands LLC, the parent company of Neutrogena, initiated a voluntary recall of its Neutrogena Makeup Remover Ultra-Soft Cleansing Towelettes, 50-count, 25-pack after the company discovered that a product tested positive for a bacterium called pluralibacter gergoviae during an internal investigation.
The recalled product has the following lot number: 1835U6325A. Kenvue advised that customers visit Neutrogena’s customer service websitefor any questions or concerns.
