On Tuesday’s episode of the “Lip Service” podcast, Cannon, 41, said that he is expecting more children this year. He had three children with two different women in 2021, Rolling Stone reported.

Cannon is expecting the birth of his eighth child with model Bre Tiesi, E! Online reported.

In June 2021, “The Masked Singer” host had twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa, People reported. The following month, the comedian had a son, Zen, with Alyssa Scott, according to the magazine. Zen died on Dec. 5 after being diagnosed with brain cancer, according to People.

Cannon said he tried celibacy but it did not work, particularly after the death of his son. When asked on the podcast about rumors he had three children on the way in 2022, Cannon joked about it.

“When you say ‘on the way,’ what count are you at?“ Cannon said. “Let’s just put it this way: the stork is on the way.”

Cannon is also a father to twins Monroe and Moroccan with Mariah Carey, and Golden and Powerful with Brittany Bell, Rolling Stone reported.

Cannon said his therapist told him that he “needed to chill out.”

“So I was like, ‘Yo, let’s try celibacy.’ And that was like October. I didn’t even make it to (January),” Cannon said. “I was supposed to make it to the top of the year. Then obviously I started going through some stuff.”

When “Lip Service” co-hosts Angela Yee and Gigi Maguire wondered if fans can expect Cannon to have a handful of children by September and October, Cannon laughed and answered, “Y’all are pretty good at math,” People reported.

“If you thought it was a lot of kids last year ...” Cannon joked.
