St. Augustine hosts the Jerk and Curry Music Festival

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Celebrating all things Carribbean, St. Augustine will host the Jerk and Curry Music Festival on Saturday, September 24 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at St. Franics Field on West Castillo Drive.

The annual festival, now in its fifth year, will feature live reggae and soca music with MC Professor Nuts. Live performances Anthony B., Ikal, King Eddie, Tony Palmer, Neville Duncan, Talmagilla, Everton Blender, and Round Head. Additional performers include Isha Blenda, Jahmela Blender, Lyrikali, Jahverse, Jeffers, Mis Lou, and Lionheart.

Island infused food includes everything spicy jerk and curry-flavored food. Events include a pepper-eating or limbo contest and a Kids Fun Zone.

Admission$20 in advance though Eventbrite and $35 per person at the gate on the day of the show. For more information, call (904) 713-5111.
