Jacksonville, Fl — Sunday’s heat and humidity were just a preview of a hot stretch of weather in NE Florida.
Action News Jax Meteorologist Alyssa Pejic says this afternoon will be hot with highs near record levels in the lower 90s. It will feel like the mid 90s with the humidity.

We will be near or just above 90 degrees through the first half of this week. A few showers and storms are possible in the afternoon and evening on Wednesday and then again during the day on Thursday.
Friday looks to be the ‘pick’ day of the week with mostly sunny conditions and lower humidity with mild temps only in the low 80s.
Mother’s Day weekend is shaping up to be warm in the 80s and mostly sunny.
