68-year-old bikes across America to raise funds for Challenged Athletes Foundation

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — 68-year-old Paul Webb arrived in Jacksonville on Thursday, after biking across America equipped with only his bike and his strong determination.

He made the journey to raise funds for the Challenged Athletes Foundation, which aims to support people with physical challenges.

“Everybody likes to play. Everybody likes to win. CAF provides that excitement for people to participate in life and sports,” Webb told Action News Jax.

Webb began his journey in San Diego, California in October of 2021. He averaged 30-40 miles per day, traveling over 2,400 miles before arriving in Jacksonville.

Webb raised $78,000 for the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
