Fight between brothers at Arlington apartment ends in gunfire

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two brothers were arguing inside an apartment near Jacksonville University when one pulled out a gun and shot the other in the chest.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says deputies showed up to the complex on 2900 Tall Pine Lane after a neighbor called about two people fighting outside.

The sibling was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injures. The other is in custody.

According to the police report, multiple shots were fired inside and outside the apartment. Luckily, no one else was hit.

Police are talking to witnesses and trying to gather more information.
