Todd Zimmerman from Worst Cooks talk with Toni Foxx!

Todd Zimmerman and Toni Foxx

Todd Zimmerman’s story proves it’s never too late to learn something new — even if you once held the title of Worst Cook in America. Before reality TV, Todd spent nearly a decade traveling with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, which didn’t leave much room for learning his way around a kitchen. But everything changed when he joined the show and trained under Chef Anne Burrell, who helped him realize that great cooking isn’t just about technique — it’s about the heart you put into the food.

Now Todd is sharing what he’s learned with the Jacksonville community at the upcoming Home and Patio Show at the Prime Osborne Convention Center THIS WEEKEND. During the event, he’ll demonstrate a dish inspired by a family trip to Corfu, Greece — a trip he took using his prize money from the show. His journey from circus life to the kitchen is a reminder that cooking is a skill anyone can learn, and sometimes the best recipes come from the experiences that shape us along the way.
