The rudest city in the US is... not New York

A recent survey revealed that Miami, Florida, is considered the rudest city in the United States. The study, conducted by language learning platform Preply, rated Miami residents at 9.88 out of 10 in terms of rudeness.

The ranking was based on factors like public unawareness, noisiness in shared spaces, and how residents treat service workers.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (9.12), and Tampa, Florida (8.88) followed as the second and third rudest cities. Notably, Tampa held the top spot in Preply’s 2022 study.

The top five were completed by Louisville, Kentucky (8.72), and Oakland, California (8.67).

On the opposite end, Omaha, Nebraska, was rated the least rude city with a score of 6.24, followed by Minneapolis, Minnesota (6.35) and San Diego, California (6.68).
