A professional jump roper used the tools of his trade to save a guy’s life.

David Fisher is a professional jump roper who holds three world records in addition to being an author of a children’s book about a jump-roping hero. Well, now he’s the jump-roping hero.

Last December, David says a neighbor’s dog ran onto an ice pond to chase geese and then fell through. So, the dog’s owner, an 18-year old man, went over to try to save the dog. He also fell in.

So, David literally went to his bag of tricks... his bag of jump ropes and pulled out the double Dutch ropes and threw it to the man and they were able to pull him to safety.
