Local man becomes hero after rescuing coworker from retention pond

Not all heroes wear capes. Sometimes, the hero is your coworker who is there at the right place at the right time.

That was the situation in which Ryan Lauber became a hero, because he rescued his Publix coworker, who appeared to be drowning at a retention pond behind the store on Dunn Avenue.
