Jim Carrey is reportedly in negotiations to portray George Jetson in a live-action reboot of The Jetsons, a project being developed by Warner Bros. Rumors suggest Jurassic World filmmaker Colin Trevorrow will direct and co-write with Joe Epstein. Casting Carrey hints at a blend of slapstick humor and heartfelt charm, reimagining the classic space-age patriarch for modern audiences.

If this deal seals, “Jane, stop this crazy thing!” may become one of Hollywood’s most quoted catchphrases once again.
