Did you know the cast of Bachelor in Paradise gets paid?? And a good amount too....
Dean Unglert from Rachel Lindsay’s season say’s he was encouraged to negotiate.
“They hit me up, and they’re like, ‘Hey, do you want to do Bachelor in Paradise, this other show? It pays $400 bucks a day, and you could be there for up to 30 days, or something like that,’” Dean told E! News. “So I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, great. Four hundred bucks a day, 30 days, $12,000—that’s fantastic.’ And then I start talking to some friends, and they’re like, ‘Well, you should get more money because you’re...who they want most from your season to go to Paradise, minus Peter Kraus.”
Jason Tartik from Becca Kufrin’s season said he got a similar offer.
He said he negotiated to appear on Bachelor in paradise three years ago for $600 a day-with one catch- a $5,000 guarantee just in case he was kicked off week one. Jason ended up not going on that season- he started dating his (now) fiancé, Kaitlyn Bristowe.
How much do leads get cast for The Bachelor and Bachelorette? Jason said he was offered $100,000 and Dean said he was offered $75,000 to take the gig. Neither of them were cast, so the actual leads could have made less/more from the franchise.
