Drinks on the Riverwalk

Those looking to enjoy the Riverwalk downtown can now do so with drinks in hand.

Earlier this year, the Jacksonville City Council passed an ordinance allowing alcohol in legally designated areas on the Northbank and Southbank of the St. Johns River.

To comply with the ordinance, those wanting to drink in these areas must use specific plastic cups with the Riverwalk logo, available from participating businesses such as the Chart House, DoubleTree by Hilton, the Southbank Hotel, Hyatt Regency, and Morton’s Steak House.
