Tomorrow is the first day of August, which means back-to-school season is right around the corner. Although if your kids are already in sports, band, cheer, or other activities . . . it may feel like school season has already started.
A new survey of Millennial parents found that driving kids to and from school activities takes an average of 38 minutes every day.
Over a full school year, that adds up to nearly 7,000 minutes . . . or almost 15 eight-hour workdays.
That’s 15 full workdays spent behind the wheel . . . wondering if somebody left their water bottle at home . . . while listening to Imagine Dragons.
Hey, these are Millennials.
And 77% of parents say back-to-school season makes life even more hectic.
Kids, if you’re listening, don’t take it for granted that your parents make themselves available to drive you everywhere.
And keep in mind: One day, you’ll have kids of your own . . . and you’ll finally understand why Mom said, “I’m not running a taxi service!” right before driving you there anyway.
