PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. — Longtime celebrity couple Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser are splitting up, multiple entertainment outlets are reporting.
According to People magazine and E! News, the 43-year-old Kartheiser, who wed the “Handmaid’s Tale” star in 2014, filed for divorce Aug. 10 in Putnam County, New York.
Bledel, 40, and Kartheiser, best known for his role as Pete Campbell on “Mad Men,” met in 2012 when the former “Gilmore Girls” actress played Campbell’s mistress on the AMC drama, the outlets reported. The pair share one child, a son born in 2015.
Although the couple’s representatives confirmed the split to E!, neither Bledel nor Kartheiser has commented publicly on the news.
