Jade Dumpling on Old St. Augustine Road in Mandarin is a new authentic Chinese spot getting attention for its dumplings and noodles — basically perfect comfort food as we head into fall. Over in San Marco, Papa’s Kitchen and Cocktails is an Italian-American scratch kitchen with a big central bar, happy hour Tuesday through Friday and live music on the weekends.
Also in San Marco is The Bookseller on Hendricks Avenue, which combines a community bookstore with coffee, pastries and wine. You can browse the books, grab a coffee and get some work done, or settle in with a glass of wine — definitely one of the more unique new concepts around town.
