Who would you rather deal with next Thursday — your uncle who won’t stop talking politics, or a pack of wiggly kids who can’t sit still?
Turns out, 47% of Americans would happily take the kids’ table this Thanksgiving. Millennials lead the charge at 62%. A wine company commissioned the survey, which makes sense — alcohol helps some folks get through dinner, but it’s also the spark behind plenty of family fireworks.
Here are the Top 10 Topics Everyone Wants to Avoid this Thanksgiving:
- Politics
- Money
- Appearance or weight
- Religion
- Their ex
- Mental health
- Work issues
- Personal struggles
- Relationship status
- Other family members
So if conversation gets dicey, remember — there’s always room at the kids’ table . . . and the arguments there usually end with crayons, not shouting.
